Trigon Auction launches new collection with 3 year old horses
Trigon Auctions, the auction house created by the family van de Lageweg, Stal Tops and Frederik De Backer, has launched its 5th and final collection for 2020.
A group of 12, strictly selected 3 year old horses will be sold between 11 until 16 december with the online auction closing on Wednesday from 20h CET onwards.

A group of 12, strictly selected 3 year old horses will be sold between 11 until 16 december with the online auction closing on Wednesday from 20h CET onwards.
“In the previous auction, we presented 4 great mares and both clients and sellers reacted well to the initiative” says Janko van de Lageweg. “Now we’ve put together a group of horses that match the quality, representative to all 3 partners. There’s again clear quality in this collection.”
“The 3 year olds have been recruited over multiple selection moments and we’ve seen every horse several times. It brought us to a fairly slim group in which every horse has our full support” adds Frederik De Backer.
“This is an exciting new phase in the project that we started over half a year ago. Just like with our foals we weren’t led by a pedigree, but by a complete horse in this case. Talent, type, vetting, it all comes in to play and these 3 year olds tick all boxes” explains a spokes person for Stal Tops.
