An athlete for €40.000
For the first auction of the year, Trigon Auctions have sold D’Atleet van’t Koningshof for €40.000, making him the top-seller of the night. This stallion by Diamant de Semilly and Eric Lamaze’s former succesmare Atlete van’t Heike travels to Mexico where he will be welcomed by a returning client.
A returning client from Bulgaria paid the 2nd highest price for the talented Odin VDL at €24.000 and another Mexican investor who already purchased foals over Trigon Auction now bought the stallion Orizona at €23.500.
Overall Trigon Auctions have sold 10 of the 12 horse presented, at an average price of €19.000 for the 3‑year-old geldings and stallions.
The next Trigon Auctions will be dedicated to the newborn foals and the online sales will close on the dates below, traditionally on a Wednesday.
